Margaret Sue Keel

August 27, 1932 - November 7, 2016

MARGARET GALLARNO KEEL Memphis, Tn. Margaret Keel went to be with Jesus on Monday, November 7, 2016, after a long illness. She was predeceased by her parents, Ensign Gallarno and Eddie Mae VanDyke Gallarno, her husband, Robert Edward Keel, her brother, Edgar 'Buster' Gallarno, and twin sister, Mary Sue Gallarno. Margaret was born in Shelby County, Tennessee, on August 27, 1932. She was a faithful member of Greenlaw Baptist Church, West Frayser Baptist Church and now Waypoint Baptist Church. She loved teaching children which was her passion in church. She gave birth to four children whom she adored; Brenda Allum (Ken), Nancy Young (Jack), Robbie Vickrey (Bruce) and Robert A. Keel (Cindy). These four children gave her ample grandchildren and even some great grandchildren. She loved her family very much and always wanted them to be close and to love each other deeply. Margaret was known for her deep love for her Lord, for people, for her church, and for her family. She was vivacious and the life of any party she attended, and the greatest encourager one could have. According to her, her greatest legacy is that she and her husband were believers in Jesus and that all four of her children have become believers and married believers. A visitation time will be at Waypoint Baptist Church, 5586 Stage Rd, Bartlett, Tn., 38134, at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 12, 2016. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 pm at the same church. A private graveside service will come later. She will be missed very much, but, it is only a temporary separation. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, any memorial be given to her church, Waypoint Baptist Church, Bartlett, Tn., or a Christian charity of your choice.
